Obituary

Marian Jean Williams Forberg, (Meppy) Age 66, passed away at Hospice Care Center in Port Orange with her loving family at her side. Marian was born to the late Albert and Janet Williams, April 10, 1945 in Brockport, New York. She was raised in Hilton, NY. She graduated from MCC in Rochester, NY with an Associates Degree, and attended DBCC in 1986 in Florida to continue her legal studies. Marian married Gary M. Forberg in 1978 in Hilton, NY  and they eventually moved to Daytona Beach Shores in 1984, and later to Port Orange in 2003. Marian was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and previously worked at the now dissolved Black, Sims & Birch, LLP Law Firm for 23 years as a Legal Secretary before her retirement in 2009. She was a member of the National Notary Association, Florida Notary Association, The Daytona Beach Legal Secretaries Association and the 500 Bowling Club. She loved to shop, listen to all music and Talk Show Radio. She truly loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed many hobbies including bowling, decorating, especially during the holidays, gardening, entertaining, and cooking. Her love of travel was contagious and always was there with cruising with her devoted husband, Gary and going to their special place in Key Colony in the Florida Keys and traveling anywhere in the USA. They did many of them together. Marian is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Gary Forberg; two children, Son, James R. Ohls (Linda) of Hamlin, NY with Step-grandchildren Sarah Harris and Alfred Jensen; along with four Step-great grandchildren David Jensen, Breanna, Jayden and Nicholas Macioszek; Daughter, Dawn Marie Miller (Kevin Juneau) and granddaughter, Nichole Marie Ellis, both of Port Orange, FL; Step-Daughter Kimberly Newkirk (Steve Seijas) of  Palm Coast, FL; and Step-Son, Jeffrey Forberg (Rachel) of Hilton, NY; Step- grandchildren William and Alexandra Forberg; Sister, Patricia M. Williams of Port Orange, FL, and several loving Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Cousins, and many very special friends. Condolences are welcome and may be shared with the family at www.BaldwinCremation.com. There will be a Celebration of Life at Baldwin Brothers Cremation Society, I  North Causeway, New Smyrna Beach, FL on Monday, May 16, 2011 at 1:00pm.         In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in her memory to Hospice of Volusia Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129       There will be a Celebration of Life at Baldwin Brothers Cremation Society, 1 North Causeway, New Smyrna Beach, FL on Monday, May 16, 2011 at 1:00pm.   Internment will be at Greenwood Cemetery, 320 White Street  Daytona Beach, FL immediately following.
