Maribel
Dieter (Piantini)
Nov 8, 1967 — Oct 20, 2026
Maribel Dieter (Piantini) was born in November 1967 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to Melercio and Claudia Piantini. She was the 3rd child of 5. From an early age, She showed a unique kindness, innocence, curiosity, and a heart full of love for others and nature. This moved her to make a dedication to Jehovah God.
Moved to New York at age 17. Got baptized in Pittsburgh, PA on August 3, 1985. In 1987 did Technical School as she Auxiliary Pioneered for 6 months. At 19, started full-time ministry (R.P). Also applied to be a commuter Bethelite.
At age 20 Maribel knew Christopher as a friend. One day Chris asked her to date with marriage in mind.
After 1 year got engaged in Wisconsin Dells at Ishnalla. Married March 1990 in New York. She was at Brooklyn Bethel in full-time volunteer work for 8.5 years with Chris. It was the best years of their lives.
Maribel worked in Office Cleaning, and substituted in Service Dept., Accounting, and other Departments. Made lifelong friends. She did full-time service from 1987-1998 (11 yrs)
She was a hard worker, and always with a smile. They gave their youth to Jehovah and had no children.
Happiness was part of both of them.
Due to sickness they moved to Florida. Maribel was so sick with CFS/ME that she could not attend congregation meetings. So Chris used to record the meetings for her. Eventually she figured out how to “manage” her debilitating illness with rest most days. She would save her energy for: Personal bible study, meetings, field service, and of course to spend with Chris. In that order... LOL
She would ALWAYS Auxiliary Pioneer 30 hrs (15 hrs) on special occasions with Chris and the congregation. She wanted to give her best to Jehovah. She gave parts in meetings, studied the bible with many, and supported Chris with theocratic assignments in LDC, DRC, Circuit, Regional, & PID as Remote Bethelites. She did it with all her heart.
Jehovah helped them in wonderful ways to support each other and be able to experience paradise on earth in traveling together, and so much more. They had a “SPECIAL” love, closer than most humans experience in their lifetime. Maribel felt loved and secure, and very happy, and with no regrets on the choices she made in her life. She wanted EVERYONE to love Jehovah. There is so much more to tell, but there is not enough space for it all. Just know everyone that knew her felt she was one of the most loving and special persons they ever met. Thank Jehovah for her smile. 🙂 Thanks for all the warm hugs.
We look forward to more. We love you dear “My Maribel”.
