Marie Grillo Anzilotti of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully at the age of 80 in Naples, Florida on September 15, 2026.

Marie was born in Landsdowne, PA on May 16, 1946. On September 2, 1967, she married the love of her life, Kert Anzilotti. She is survived by him, her three sons Kert, Jr. (Amy) of Wilmington, DE and Craig (Laurie) and Chad of St. Louis, MO. Marie was the beloved “Grammy” of Grace, Anna, Luke, Marie Elizabeth, Wyeth, Mark, and Kathryn Anzilotti.

She is survived by her siblings, Joanne Gioffre (George), Vincent Grillo (Joan), Nancy Stalloni, and Joseph Grillo, Jr., and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Marie was preceded in death by her loving parents, Anna and Joseph Grillo, her sister, Virginia, her brothers, Anthony and Domenic, and her brother-in-law, Joseph Stalloni.

Marie created countless memories for families and friends with her fabulous Italian meals. The time together was filled with laughter and one liners that will never be forgotten. Her Catholic faith was central to her life, and she brought this spirit to her many years of volunteering, especially for the Ministry of Caring and Ulster Project.

A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Marie at Immaculate Heart of Mary 4701 Weldin Road, Wilmington, DE on Friday, October 2 at 12pm. Visitation begins at 11am. Interment the following day, Saturday, October 3 at 8am at St. Joseph on the Brandywine.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to The Ministry of Caring.
