Titusville
Marie Antionette Ramer April 24, 1940 – September 27, 2026
Marie peacefully passed away early Sunday morning, September 27, 2026.
Marie was born in Queens, New York, on April 24, 1940, to Antonie “Tony” Joseph Milquet and Marguerite “Madge” Virginia Morgan, who preceded her in death.
Marie spent her childhood in several towns on Long Island before her family moved to Titusville, Florida, when she was in middle school. After marrying her husband, Mike Ramer, Marie moved with him to various locations during his service in the United States Air Force. After Mike retired from the Air Force, they returned to Titusville, where Marie lived for most of the remainder of her life.
Marie graduated from Titusville High School. She continued her education by earning certificates in accounting and taking courses in business law and computers.
She worked as a clerk in the Financial Department of the Brevard County Tax Collector’s Office in Titusville, where she remained until her retirement.
In December 1973, Marie became a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Throughout her years as a member, she served in many capacities, including as a Sunday School teacher, Primary teacher, and coordinator and secretary in the Relief Society, the Church’s women’s organization. Her service and dedication to others were an important part of her life.
Marie had a deep love for animals, especially cats, and cardinals were her favorite wild birds. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, painting, and crafting. She was a talented painter and especially loved creating and decorating with fall-themed crafts. Marie also enjoyed traveling and went on several cruises with her close friend and former sister-in-law, Kay Cooper. Together, they shared many memorable adventures and fun excursions.
Marie is survived by her three daughters and their families:
Vicki Jefferson of Winneconne, Wisconsin; her son, Tyler, of Neenah, Wisconsin; Tyler’s wife, Samantha; and their daughter, Piper.
Michele Richards and her husband, Lonnie Richards, of Palm Bay, Florida; their children, Zachary and his wife, Anna, of Lake Mary, Florida; Jacob of Palm Bay, Florida; David and his wife, Esther, of Oviedo, Florida; Daniel of Orlando, Florida; and Hannah of Palm Bay, Florida.
Denise Baum and her husband, Chris Baum, of Rochester Hills, Michigan; their son, Hunter Baum and his wife, Theresa, of Ferndale, Michigan; their daughter, Lilly, and her husband, Michael Shea, of Rochester Hills, Michigan; and their son, Parker, of Rochester Hills, Michigan.
Marie will be remembered for her creativity, her love of animals and family, her service to others, and the many simple joys she brought into the lives of those who knew and loved her.
The family will hold a private service.
