On February 27, 2023, Marie-Paule Benjamin of Fort Myers , Florida passed away at age 80 in

her home surrounded by her family after a brief battle with cancer . She was born in Rouge , France on September 22, 1942 . A beloved wife and mother . She enjoyed cooking, reading and traveling with her family both abroad and throughout the United States.

Marie-Paule was married to Wayne Benjamin for 55 years . They met while she was working in London , England in 1967 and were married in 1968 . They returned to Vermont in 1969 where both of their children were born. In 1976 the family moved to Fort Myers, Florida.

She is survived by her husband Wayne and son Christopher of Fort Myers, d aughter Natalie of Brooksville, F lorida, s ister Gabrielle Dufeu of Bellenanes , France, b rother Bernard and his wife Marie Dufeu of Mainz , Germany, s ister Christiane and husband Herbert Hildebrandt of Frankenthal , Germany a long with several nieces and nephews . She was preceded in death by her father Emile and mother Marcelle Dufeu and brother Claude Dufeu of France.

The family invites you to join them for t he service on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 11:00am at St. Francis Xaiver Church on 2057 Cleveland Avenue, Fort Myers .
