IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Marino “John”
Francesconi, Jr.
August 26, 1936 – March 22, 2026
Marino John Francesconi,Jr. known to family and friends as John, passed away on March 22, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on August 26, 1936, in New York, New York, John carried his strong roots and work ethic throughout his life before eventually making his home in The Villages, Florida.
John built a successful career in sales, where he was widely respected for his dedication and excellence. His commitment to his profession earned him the distinction of Salesman of the Year multiple times, a reflection of both his skill and integrity. Beyond his career, John proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. National Guard.
A man of many talents and passions, John found joy in both creativity and the outdoors. He was an accomplished, champion-level trap shooter and enjoyed golfing, fishing, boating, and outdoor photography, often capturing the beauty of nature. He also had a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, spending time birdhouse making, working with glass, and engaging in various arts and crafts.
John was a devoted member of Saint Vincent de Paul Church, where his faith remained an important part of his life. He will be remembered as a man who valued order and precision—someone who documented and dated everything, and who was always thinking, building, fixing, and finding ways to make things easier and more efficient for those around him.
He is survived by his loving family: his son, Todd Francesconi; his grandson, Kyle Francesconi; and his granddaughter, Carly Francesconi. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Josephine Francesconi, as well as his parents, Alice Manica and Marino Francesconi.
A Catholic Mass will be held in his honor. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
John will be remembered for his ingenuity, dedication, and the quiet but lasting impact he made on those who knew and loved him.
