Marion Lowell
McGuire
Mar 26, 1958 — Oct 27, 2026
In Loving Memory of Marion Lowell McGuire
March 26, 1958 – October 27, 2026
Marion Lowell McGuire, 68, passed away on October 27, 2026. He was born on March 26, 1958, in Lebanon, Indiana, to John and Melba (Downs) McGuire. He resided in Port Charlotte, Florida, and formerly Roachdale, Indiana.
Marion was a lifelong truck driver who spent his life working hard. A quiet man by nature, he was not one to need many words to show who he was or what mattered most to him. His love for his children and grandchildren ran deep, and they held a special place in his heart.
Marion was a man who showed his love in his own way. Through his dedication, quiet strength, and the life he lived, he left his mark on the people closest to him. Though he may not have always expressed himself with words, his love for his family was never in doubt.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Melba (Downs) McGuire, and his older brother, Michael D. McGuire.
Marion is survived by his three sons: Craige R. Phipps and his wife, Cathy; Matthew L. McGuire and his wife, Minnie; and Loren M. McGuire and his fiancée, Sara. He is also survived by his sisters, Kathy and Jolane, and his brother, John David, along with his beloved grandchildren, who brought him great joy.
In keeping with Marion’s wishes, no funeral or memorial arrangements will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marion’s honor to the North Putnam High School Class A CDL Training Program, helping support future drivers as they pursue a career on the road—a fitting tribute to a man who spent his life behind the wheel.
Marion leaves behind a legacy of hard work, quiet strength, and a love for his family that will carry on through the generations. Though he was a man of few words, the love he had for his children and grandchildren spoke volumes. His place in their lives can never be replaced, and his memory will live on through the family he loved so dearly.
He was a hardworking man, a loving father, and a proud grandfather. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
