Marjorie J. Patterson, age 86 of Maitland, Florida passed away peacefully Tuesday July 19,2011 with her devoted family at her side. She was born in Hoopston, Illinois December 20, 1924 to Joseph and Jessie Pearl Goodwin Decker. She migrated with her family to Orlando in the early 1930's and graduated from the Orlando High School in 1942. She met the love of her life, Joseph M. Patterson while he was in Orlando on leave from his U S Army duties during WWII, and they were married shortly after and moved to Winter Haven; they enjoyed boating, camping and mostly each other. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Winter Haven, the Church Circle Group, the Floridians and the Winter Haven Garden Club. Preceded in death by loving husband Joseph, she leaves to cherish her memory her sons Jim(Cindy), Joseph, daughters Cindy Bedford, Jayne(Bill) Gierke and the light of her life her 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
