We are saddened to announce the passing of Marjorie Olive Spencer. Aged 98, she passed away on October 31, 2026. One of four children, Marge was born in Evart, MI on December 1, 1927. Spending her entire childhood in Evart, she eventually moved away and met John Spencer, whom she married on September 7, 1946. They raised three children together. She was an amazing cook, an accomplished seamstress and was skilled in many crafts, especially crocheting. She was a guiding light, nursemaid, and dutiful mother, attending every school function. Marge had various occupations, including bookkeeper, toy sales person, and Avon representative. She was the heart of the family, the pillar, the glue that held everyone together. Having been a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she was so loved and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Spencer and son Galen Spencer. Marge is survived by a daughter, Dee Morris (David Morris), and son Owen Spencer, grandchildren Jarrod Copeland (Amy), Shannon Burch (Jason Brown), Cheyenne Burch (James Gutierrez), Coty Morris (Becky Terry), Tabitha Morris (Abe Belknap), and eleven great grandchildren. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
