Obituary

Mark Randall Hoffman, age 67, passed away peacefully at his home in Daytona Beach, FL, on March 20, 2025. After a courageous 10-year battle with Melanoma cancer, which then quickly spread to his brain. Mark was surrounded by the love of his family in his final days.

Mark was born on January 28, 1958, in Syracuse, New York to Robert Hoffman and Clara Mae White Hoffman. At the age of six, he moved with his family to Daytona Beach, Florida, where he grew up. He attended Mainland High School and pursued trade classes at Daytona State College. Over the course of his career, Mark worked as a printing press operator for more than 40 years, retiring in 2020 to dedicate his time to his daughters and grandchildren.

Mark had a great love for Sci-Fi movies and was an avid player of World of Warcraft. He also enjoyed traveling and was always the designated "camera man" during family adventures—though he often joked that even the cameraman eventually "dies." Known for his dry and morbid sense of humor, Mark's wit and spirit have been passed down to his daughters, who will carry on his legacy.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Clara Mae Hoffman, his sister Linda, and his niece Laura. He is survived by his four daughters, Jamie, Carissa, Cassondra, and Chelsey; his three grandchildren, Makayla, Darren Jr., and Xaine; two brothers, David (and wife Robin), and Raymond; two nieces, Heather and Angela; and two nephews, Brian and Robbie.

Mark was cremated on April 2nd, 2025 and an inurnment ceremony will be held at Daytona Memorial Park on May 2nd, 2025 at 1:00 pm.
