Marlene Marie Gallagher, 74, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2023 under the care of Halifax Hospice. Marlene was a native of Follansbee, WV and moved to Central Florida in 1985. When not working, Marlene enjoyed the beach, fishing and watching football, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers. She always had a terrible towel close by when her Steelers were on television and never missed a game. She also loved fishing, especially at Tomoka State Park where she would frequent often. Her grandchildren brought her so much joy and enjoyed spending time with them whenever she could. She is survived by her two children Floyd (Jenifer) Gallagher and Ryan (Joy) Gallagher; her three grandchildren Breanna Tsolakis, Jacob Gallagher and Greyson Gallagher. Marlene was proceeded in death by her mother, Katharina Tharp and her father, Donald Tharp. A private celebration of life will be held in Marlene's honor at a date to be determined later. She lived life her way and will be forever missed.
