Marlene Joan Ritter was born 3/16/1948 in Dodgeville, WI .She went home to be with her Lord on 6/4/2026 . Survived by her husband Lonnie Ritter of Bristol , PA . They were married for 39 years She attended Neshaminy High School and her love for music allowed her to travel with the Concert Choir and participate in numerous plays and musicals. Following graduation she furthered her studies at Methodist Hospital School of Nursing, Philadelphia ,PA . graduating in 1969 . Worked at Lower Bucks Hospital as a nurse in the Medical/Surgical Department , Intensive Care Unit and as a Scrub Nurse in the Maternity Operating Room . Enjoyed nursing home programs bringing her Irish setters : Katie & Amber for visits . Because of her love for those in need she volunteered in the church kitchen program handing out food for those less fortunate . Taught as a teacher’s assistant at Bensalem Baptist School , Vacation Bible School and Sunday School bringing much joy and laughter to her classroom .  Her love for God’s Word was the force behind her becoming active in Bible Fellowship Studies and America Keswick Programs. Prison Ministry played a big role in her life for many years as she shared the Word of God with those who were broken, hurting and in need of her Savior . She was a true prayer warrior for many leaving a legacy of love for those she helped . Traveled to Guatemala on a missionary trip teaching in Bible School (practicing her newly learned Spanish ) and also assisting a local Dentist . Her trips to Israel were most meaningful as she walked in the steps of Jesus along with her beloved earthly father . Lonnie and Marlene’s trip to Oberammergau , Germany , to see the Passion Play was one of the most special times shared together. This increased her trust in God’s sacrifice ,faithfulness , and victory over death .

Her infectious laugh, love for God and others will never be forgotten . Her life was an abundant blessing from God for both family and friends ! She is mourned by her Sister: Janet (Bob) Anderson of DeBary, FL , Brother: John (Rebecca) Zuch III of Raliegh , NC , Nieces: Sharon (Jason) Lohr of Greensburg , PA , Kristine (Rob) Jones of Xenia , OH. Nephews : Robert Anderson of DeBary, FL , John (Jessica) Zuch IV of Wake Forest , NC .

For over the past 30 years she suffered in pain every day as a result of 2 auto accidents . She didn’t complain about it . She set out to do the things she could do to the glory of God . And lives were changed for the better .

1 Peter 5:10 : In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus . So after you have suffered a little while , he will restore , support ,and strengthen you , and he will place you on a firm foundation . All power to him forever ! Amen .
