Marta was born May 1 ^st , 1950 in Annapolis, Maryland and passed away October 18, 2017 in Ocala, Florida.

Marta was raised in West Palm Beach, Florida and began a singing career at the age of seven, at Bethesda-by-the-Sea Episcopal Church in Palm Beach, Florida.  While pursuing an operatic career, Marta studied Music at Palm Beach Junior College.  Later she pursued studies in nuclear physics at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida.

Marta's love for horses transitioned into a third career; raising and training horses, and their riders, in dressage, and personally competing in dressage events.  Marta was active in professional dressage competitions in Florida, North Carolina and Virginia and was instrumental in establishing the Miami-Dade Dressage Association.

Marta was hired in 2014 as Music Director at Episcopal Church of the Advent where she delighted in sharing God's love through music.  Marta remained active as a Christian guest soloist throughout Florida.

Marta is survived by her business partner, Peter, their horse children Skamp, Joy, Uppie, AJ, Pumpkin, Calle and Sam, dogs Posey and Zosie, and a host of good friends she chose to call family. A celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 10 AM.  The Celebration of Life will be held at Episcopal Church of the Advent located at 11251 SW Highway 484.
