Martha was born 2-23-1933 in Chamblee, GA, to Ulysses Grant (U. G.) Blanton and Amanda Childers Blanton. The family moved to Jacksonville, FL in 1934, then to Daytona Beach in 1937. She graduated from Mainland High School in 1951. She was a member and part-time employee of First Baptist Church in Palm Coast. Martha was in bookkeeping all her working years. She is survived by two sons, Richard (Miriam) Gaylord, DeLand, FL and Alan (Deborah) Gaylord, Crawfordville, FL and 9 grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her two husbands, Irvine Gaylord and David Stump.
