Martha Jane Mikell, 93, went to be with the Lord on January 25, 2017.  She was born to Ernest and Mattie Taylor on January 27, 1923 in the small town of Taylor, Florida.  As a young women she married Willis Mikell and together they moved to Lake City, Florida to start a life and family together.  After several years in Lake City they decided it was time for a change and in 1966 they moved to Ocala, Florida.  Martha was a wonderful Christian mother who stayed at home to raise her family.  She was a very simple woman but her main hobby was spending time with family and friends and being involved with the Church.  She is survived by her sons, David (Dee) Mikell, Glenn (Judy) Mikell, Ernie (Linda) Mikell; daughter-in-law Faye Mikell and too many grandchildren to count.   She was preceded in death by her loving husband Willis in 1984 and her 3 sons, Woodrow, Copas, and Wayne.  She was loved by many and will be missed by more.  Private family services will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers please make donations in her name to the organization of your choice.
