Martha Ann Weeks, 65, of Sarasota, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at Siesta Key Nursing Home in Sarasota surrounded by her family. Martha was born in Sarasota, FL, on December 20, 1957, to the late Grady Weeks and Alberta Curry Weeks.

In addition to her parents, Martha is preceded in death by her son, Jonathan Jeffery of Sarasota, two sisters and two brothers.

Martha is survived by her daughters, Iris Johnson and her partner Greg Davenport, Ronneke Hendrix and husband Walter; sons, Arthur Jeffery and Mary Thompson who is the mother of his kids, Terrell Weeks, and Brandi Jeffery who is the widow of Jonathan Jeffery; grandchildren, Monneke Hobbs, Myles Davenport, Lovelton Hobbs, Brandon Davenport, Brianna Davenport, Kaleah Jeffery, Arthur Jeffery Jr., Jamari Jeffery, Mason Jeffery, and one great grandchild, Makai Davenport; sisters, Anni Mary Weeks, Patricia Weeks, Doris Weeks, Minnie Weeks; brother, Grady Weeks; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins among other family and friends.

Most in life, Martha enjoyed cooking, fishing, and playing pool. She was very outspoken and always had the family laughing. Martha was the social butterfly in every group that she had joined. Most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her family and adored her grandchildren.
