On Friday, February 19, 2021, Martha Frances Molter Wortman, 86, loving wife and mother of two sons, passed away at her home on Pine Island Road in Cape Coral.  She was born in Fort Myers on February 21, 1935 to Ida-Mae and Jacob D. Molter, Jr.  She graduated from Fort Myers High School and pursued a career in finance.  She was loan officer and bank president for many years at the Bank of Indian Rocks.  She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Geraldine and brother James, and her loving husband, Bill.  She is survived by her two sons, William (Eileen) and Jeffrey (Teresa), two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.  She also leaves behind five sisters, Joan, Theresa, Ida, Patricia, and Mary;  and three brothers, Richard, Jacob, and Robert; many nieces and nephews; and her friend and caregiver, Rebecca Rutledge.  Martha's Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 7 at St. Cecilia Catholic Community, 5632 Sunrise Drive in Fort Myers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Fort Myers.
