Martin Eugene Minshall, a beloved soul of 90 years, peacefully embarked on his final journey on March 30, 2025. In the heart of Kansas City, Missouri is where his story began on September 30, 1934. Throughout his remarkable life, Martin was a beacon of faith, a pillar of family, and a servant to all who knew him.
From a young age, Martin's unwavering devotion to Christianity shaped his life. He lived with a generous heart, offering his blessings to various Christian ministries that resonated with his spirit. Among his proudest achievements, he cherished his AA degree, celebrated victories on the golf course, and, above all, found his greatest joy in the arms of his beloved wife, Carol, the love of his life.
With courage and dedication, Martin wore the uniform of the U.S. Navy, serving his country with honor. His journey led him to a successful career in sales, where his brilliance shone brightly, earning him accolades, including the prestigious Salesman of the Year.
Life with Martin was a grand adventure, filled with laughter and passion. He savored every moment, whether it was on the golf course, casting a line while fishing, steering a boat across calm waters, or engaging in spirited games of poker and chess. He found solace in reading the Bible, and he delighted in watching westerns and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs while soaking in the wisdom of Christian ministers on television.
Those who knew Martin will forever hold dear his infectious sense of humor, his kind-hearted nature, and his boundless compassion. He inspired many with his intelligence, resilience, and unwavering generosity, leaving a profound impact on the lives he touched. Above all, he loved deeply — a love that was felt by everyone around him.
Martin leaves behind a cherished family, including his sister Barbara, his sons Gregg and Phil, his grandchildren Lisa, Mike, Dave, Lucas, and Delilia, and his great-grandchildren Jillian, Savanna, and River. He was greeted with open arms in the afterlife by his beloved Carol, his parents Gene and Maxine, and his sister Ladonna, who watch over him now.
A graveside service to honor his remarkable life will take place at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102 Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513.
