Martin Warren Roewer

October 25, 1946 – August 17, 2026

Martin Warren Roewer, 79, of The Villages, Florida, passed away August 17, 2026, following a long battle with cancer.

Born in Amityville, New York, Martin joined the United States Air Force in 1965 and served his country for 21 years. Much of his career was devoted to the Titan II strategic missile program. He retired in 1986 as a Chief Master Sergeant, having received numerous military honors, including the Meritorious Service Medal with First Oak Leaf Cluster.

While stationed in Tucson, Arizona, Martin met Shirley on a blind date. They married November 30, 1968, and shared more than 57 years of marriage. Following his military retirement, Martin spent the next 25 years working as a program manager for Boeing.

Martin was a devoted husband and father, a loyal friend, and a man known for his generosity and quick wit. He loved cooking for family and friends, golf, woodworking, and music. A member of American Legion Post 347, he also proudly served with the Patriot Guard Riders, honoring fellow veterans and their families.

Martin is survived by his wife, Shirley; adult children, Michelle and Scott; grandchildren, Leslie and Aaron; great-grandchildren, Lincoln and Andrew; and sisters, Linda Vignec and Della (Bob) Jackson.

On Monday, August 24, 2026, a Celebration of Life and viewing will be held at Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Society in Wildwood, Florida, at 10:30 AM Burial with full military honors will follow at 1:30 PM at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida
