Marvin Lee Shields was born on August 11, 1938 and left for Heaven on Memorial Day May 25, 2020.

Marvin was a quiet soft-spoken man with a heart full of love. He worked as a long-distance truck driver, as well road construction. He loved fishing and would give up eating to go fishing! He loved going to church, and he could cry at almost anything that was said. He knew Jesus was the Son of God.

Marvin is survived by his wife Diane, who he loved dearly for 62 years, his son, Mardy Lee, his daughters, Kathy Diane Tipton, Deann Elaine McCullum, and Serenity Kathryn Tipton, and 9 grandchildren. Marvin was predeceased by his son, Kenneth Larry and his daughter, Sharon Marie Tennyson.

His family will always remember him until we join him.
