Mary Agnes Martin passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018, peacefully surrounded by family and the spirit of love. She was born December 23, 1934, in Ravenswood, West Virginia.
After high school, she moved to Washington DC to work for the Air Force at the Pentagon. Later she moved out west to San Francisco, California where she met her husband Jim, married and had two children. She and her husband moved to Mt. Shasta, California to raise their children and started a successful newspaper publishing business. They later retired to Central Florida.
Mary's talents and skills shined the most as an interior decorator and doing extensive genealogy research. Her family will always remember her talents most as a chef, cooking gourmet French, traditional American & Southern dishes. She loved to quilt, do calligraphy, garden, and had a passion for reading books and historical learning.
Mary is the daughter of Charles M. Hall and Lucy Hively-Hall. She is survived by her husband James P. Martin of Eustis, Florida, her son Patrick A. Martin of Bismarck, ND, her daughter Susan E. Martin of Brooklyn, NY, her Daughter-in-Law, Trisha Martin and three grandsons Oakley, Maguire and Rivers Martin all of Bismarck, ND, her brother Charles "Buck" Hall of Ravenswood, WV. Her nephews Andy Hall of Ohio, Chad Hall of South Carolina and her niece Maryellen Hall-Goss of North Carolina.
