Mary Carmella Adevai

Born on October 4, 1932, in New York City. Preceded in death by her parents, Caroline and Salvatore Adevai, her sister Carol, and her brothers Salvatore and Joe Adevai.

She is survived by her daughters, Joanna Wood (Jim) of Orlando, Florida, and Michelle Andrews of Hamilton Square, New Jersey, as well as by her very special niece Lisa. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Michael Kara, Jade and Zara Reves, and great-grandchildren Gavin Kara and Kane.

Nieces Lisa Adevai of Staten Island, New York, and Patty Ravel were especially close to her.

Mary was employed by E.R. Squibb and Sons for 40 years in Human Resources. She was also a member of the E.R.S. Retirees Club, the O.B. Seniors Red Hats of O.B. and Orlando, and the E.B. chapter of AARP.

Services will be in the care of Lynch Funeral Home in Sunnyside, New York.

Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Woodside, New York.
