Mary Lowe Carpenter

8/6/1941 to 2/29/24

Mary died peacefully during Hospice at Advent Health Waterman hospital in Tavares FL. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Jeffery Carpenter. She was predeceased by two sisters, Ellen, and Nancy as well as her son David Terrel and a stepson, Jay Carpenter.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Burgess, and stepchildren Richard, Cheryl, and Stanley Carpenter as well as Grandchildren and great Grandchildren. She was employed as a gallery manager for Ethan Allen galleries in Charleston SC for a number of years.

She and Jeff resided in many places during Jeff's 22 years in the US Navy and then their 15 years with the Central Intelligence Agency. Finally settling in Tavares FL at Baytree for 24 years. They cruised often in the Caribbean and especially enjoyed a trip into the Panama Canal. She enjoyed bridge and joined the RED Hat Society.
