Mary E. (Brat) Yates Hensley, 91, of Bradenton, Florida, formerly Beech Grove, Indiana and Oak Grove, Louisiana, passed away March 4th, 2026. Her interment will be at a later date this summer in Oak Hill Cemetery in Kirklin, Indiana. She is survived by her daughter Lisa Carter (Daniel) of Bradenton, Florida, her grandson Kristofer Kormu (Spenser), and her two great grand daughters, Emerson and Reese Kormu, of Parrish, Florida. She also has numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip Hensley, her grandson, Mikael Kormu and her brother's, sister's, parents and in laws.
