Mary Jo Lewis, 85, of Ft. Myers, FL passed away on February 21, 2020 at Hope Hospice. She was born on January 23, 1935 in Washington, DC to the late John Berry and Dorothy Virginia (Stoy) Berry. Mary Jo was a Homemaker, and a member of the Church of the Cross. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Jack Lewis of Ft. Myers, FL; her daughter, Marleen Lewis of Ft. Myers, FL; her son, David Lewis and his wife Celia of Ft. Myers, FL; his granddaughter, Heather Ward and her husband Steve of Lehigh Acres, FL; her grandson, Jack Stapler of Ft. Myers, FL; and her great grandson, Evan Ward of Lehigh Acres, FL. Mary Jo was a Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, GiGi, and friend to so many. She was a strong believer in our Heavenly Father and a friend of Bill W. for many years. She loved her family, her friends, butterflies, and most importantly God.
