Mary Ann Prugar Muessig, 80, of Port Orange, passed away on January 18, 2019. A native of Mount Joy, Pennsylvania, she came to this area in 1971 from Columbia, PA. Mary Ann was a retired teacher. Her first love was her family, followed closely by cooking, traveling, fishing, camping read, playing Scrabble and any other activity that she could enjoy with her kids and grandkids. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Ronald of Port Orange, daughters, Jessica Thumser of Brunswick, GA, Elizabeth Gimbert of Roanoke, VA, Rosemary DeAlba of Lexington, KY, Laura Markes of Port Orange, FL and son Lawrence Prugar, III of Daytona Beach. Mary Ann's family will receive friends from 5-7 pm 0n Wednesday, January 23 at the Heritage Place at Baldwin Brothers, 620 Dunlawton Avenue, Port Orange. They will celebrate her life with a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, January 24 at 11:00 am at the Catholic Church of the Epiphany and she will be laid to rest immediately afterwards at Woodland Cemetery.
