Mary Jane Parker, 95, passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 6, 2023 in her daughter's home with family by her bedside.  Mary Jane had been living with and lovingly cared for by her daughter since the age of 86, debilitated from severe arthritis and dementia.

Mary Jane was born June 7, 1928, to Chancy Earl Hill and FloyAnna Brown Hill, in Gratiot County, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Lawrence K. Parker

and great grandson, Jackson K. Steinmiller.

She is survived by son, Kenneth L. Parker, Palm Bay, Florida; daughter, Lauren K. (Daniel) Patrick, Beverly Hills, Florida; five grandchildren, Kimilee (Bernard) Steinmiller, Keith and Kenley Parker, all of Ohio; Elizabeth (Lance) Shnider and their daughter, great grandchild Jillian, Beverly Hills, Florida; Melissa (Keith) Patrick Siddell, Dunnellon, Florida and two step grandsons, Christopher Patrick and Timothy (Denita) Patrick and many great grandchildren in Indiana and Ohio.

Mary Jane was never without a kitty, and her current cat, Inky was her constant companion. Her family was her world and she was the most supportive wife, devoted and loving Mom and Grandma. She was a dedicated homemaker, a talented seamstress, loved to paint landscapes, read mystery cozies and knit delicate baby clothes. She had an active retired life, traveling with her husband Larry, RV camping and playing bluegrass music on her five string banjo in harmony with her musical family and friends. She was also an avid line dancer well into her 80's.

Mary Jane was memorialized in a private graveside service with no visitation. She had requested to be remembered as she was when she was enjoying her full beautiful life.
