Mary Jane (Hallesy) Robbins age 70 passed away peacefully on April 7, 2025 at her home in Ocala, Florida with her loving daughter by her side.

Mary Jane (Hallesy) Robbins was born on November 30, 1954 to parents Donald John and Muriel Noel (Dagenais) Hallesy.  She pursued her career as a Dental Hygienist and raised her family in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan. After Mary Jane's retirement she and her husband moved to Ocala, Florida making it their home.

While living in Ocala, Mary Jane enjoyed many crafts and activities. Quilting was her major passion. She was also an avid outdoors person, mastering gardening, pickleball, and claiming three (3) hole-in-ones in her golfing career.

Mary Jane was preceded in death by her Father and Mother, Don and Noel Hallesy of the Sault. Brother Donald J Hallesy Jr. of Boston, Mass, and Husband Jonathon Robbins of Ocala, Florida.

She is survived by her daughter Heather Dawn Currie of Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan. Grandsons Demetrious Donald and Cole Alexander Mourufas of Boyne Falls, Michigan. Brother James R (Faye) Hallesy of Michigamme, Michigan and Sister Michele (Hallesy) Ullery of Delton, Michigan. Cabin Sisters Karen (Byron) Gregg and Lori (Byron) Hall of Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan. Also Cabin Sisters Barbara (Hallesy) Wirt of Spokane, Washington and Pamela (Hallesy) Kaplan of Greenland, Michigan. A companion Brian Bissonnette of Ocala, Florida along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

There will be No Memorial Services per Mary Jane's wishes

Donations in Mary Jane's honor may be made to a Hospice House, An Animal Shelter, or your your favorite charity.
