Mary Elliott Touchstone Williams, 99, passed away on December 29, 2022 in Summerfield, Florida. Mary was born on January 8, 1923 in Lexington, North Carolina to Benjamin Franklin Touchstone and Lillie Corina Lowdermilk. She married Charles Brantley Williams Jr.(C.B.) on January 14, 1940. Their family life was interrupted by his service in the Army. Once discharged, their family did grow and life was one of good times and challenges. Their marriage of 56 years ended in 1996 with the death of C.B. Surviving children include Gloria Melton, Regina(Regi) Williams, and Roger Williams. She had eight grandchildren- Donna, Mark, Melissa(Missy), Brantley, Colby, Michael(Mike), Benjamin, and Brittan. She also had 12 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great grandchildren. Her passing has left a giant void that cannot be filled or replaced. AMEN. Thank you to the staff of Summerfield Suites as it was a wonderful home away from home.
