Maryann was born, raised, and married in Chicago, Illinois. She lived on their farm in Dry Ridge, Kentucky for 26 years where she got to have her horses and retired in Edgewater, Florida from DHL Air Freight in 2015.

Mar passed on and became a being of light on October 24, 2024 after making brave and strong decisions on how she was going to deal with cancer and with passing on – her way!

Maryann, or Mar as she liked to be called, is survived by her husband of 39 years, Ted, and her older brother, Dan Corey of Chicago.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Corey and Anna Rudowicz of Chicago, and younger brother, John Corey of California.

Mar was known for her love of animals, especially dogs and horses. Volunteering and making lunches for the Florida Pointer Rescue Adoption events was one of her favorite things!

Mar's "way" will be deeply missed by me, her husband; our dogs – I mean her dogs!; her brother, Danny and all of our dear friends, neighbors, and associates.

Per her wishes, there will be no services. A Celebration of Life is being planned for a future date.
