Maryellen Morrissey Hellermann, 59, of Port Orange FL passed away September 23, 2010 at Hospice of Volusia Southeast Care Center Edgewater FL. She was born in New York City and worked as a nurse ar Lenox Hill Hospital. Later she relocated to the Daytona Beach area, and continued her nursing career at Halifax Medical Center. She enjoyed music, reading, flowers and rescuing animals. She is predeceased by her parents Catherine and James Morrissey and earlier this year her husband Robert Hellermann, Sr. Survivors include cousins Joan (Dave) Brehm, and Catharine (Joseph) Dodd; second cousins David Brehm, Elizabeth Miritello and Joseph, Michael and James Dodd. Additional survivors include three stepchildren and many friends in the New York City and Daytona area. Life Celebration will be held 12 Noon, Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Hospice of Volusia 3800 Woodbriar Trail Port Orange FL 32129.
