Matthew James Galligan, 31, of Apopka, Florida, passed away on July 19, 2016. Born in Decatur, Illinois, to James Martin Galligan, Jr. and Kathy Ann (Bartosch) Galligan, Matt moved to Longwood, Florida, at the age of 10 with his family. He worked in the hospitality industry locally, including Outback and Carrabba's restaurants. He is survived by father James Galligan Jr., brothers Adam and Andrew Galligan, many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends.

A celebration of Matt's life will be held Saturday, July 23, 2016 from 1:00pm – 4:00pm at the Silver Fern Lounge, 801 W SR 436, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714. A formal memorial service will take place at Highland Memory Gardens, 3329 E Semoran Blvd., Apopka, FL 32703 on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 11:00am (please follow signs/arrows once there).
