Matt McKinnon passed away on February 20, 2026 in Winter Park, FL at the age of 48 after a hard-fought battle with pancreatic cancer. Matt was a lover of all and brightened every room he entered. His quick wit and keen intellect made him a sought-after teammate in games and in life. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and golf.

Matt’s greatest love was his two children, Suzie and Hank. His brilliance, kindness (and great hair) will live on in them. He will be greatly missed.

Matt is survived by his beautiful children Suzanna and Hank; his loving parents Joel and Genean McKinnon, his siblings Courtney (Nate) Winget, Ashley (Scott) Jackson, Alexis Preisser, and Adam McKinnon; 15 adoring nieces and nephews and countless friends and fans.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 1 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 45 E. Par Street in Orlando, FL.
