Maureen E. Erpenbach, 84, Orlando   Maureen Elizabeth Erpenbach (McGowan) passed peacefully on September 6, 2013, at the age of 84 after her battle with Melanoma Cancer.    Maureen was born on February 7, 1929, in Liverpool, England and was the daughter of the late John McGowan and late Madeleine McGowan. As a young child, she moved to New York City where she graduated from St. Catherine's Catholic High School in 1942. She served in the US Navy as a Radioman until 1950 and later worked for the Federal Government until her retirement in 1997.    She resided in Orlando, FL since 1985 and is survived by her brother James (Theresa) McGowan of Orlando, FL;  daughters, Patricia (Rodger) Seaquist of Waldorf, MD and Cathy (Steve) Dick, of Orlando, FL; son, Brian Erpenbach of Dayton, MD; grandchildren Chris (Heather) Dixon, Jillian (Matt) McRae, Kyle Erpenbach, and Hannah Seaquist; and great grandchildren Kaitlyn and Chase Dixon. She was preceded in death by her husband John D. "Doc" Erpenbach in 2007 and brother John Edward McGowan in 1959.     She will be very deeply missed by those who knew and loved her. A life celebration gathering and reception will be held at 4pm on Sunday, September 22 at the Club of Orlando Clubhouse, 8205A Sun Spring Circle , Orlando, 32825.
