Maureen Spotts, 85, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2026.

Maureen shared 65 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Bob. They were truly inseparable and happiest side by side—whether golfing, traveling, working, or playing poker after a round of golf.

A devoted homemaker, Maureen created a loving home while raising her family. She also enjoyed working alongside Bob in the family home-building business, welcoming prospective buyers through their model homes—an experience she often considered one of the happiest seasons of her life.

Competitive, fierce, and never one to shy away from speaking her mind, Maureen was someone you didn't want to cross—but those fortunate enough to be loved by her knew just how deeply loyal and devoted she was. Her honesty, strength, and unwavering commitment to her family will be remembered always.

Maureen is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” Spotts; her daughters, Susan Fletcher and Terri Straka (Jamie); her grandchildren, Weston (Laura) Straka, Kelli (Alex) Palko, and Riley Fletcher; her great-grandsons, Andrew and James Straka; and many friends and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her sister, Judy Goldberg.

She will be deeply missed and forever loved.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on July 10 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 230 S. Old Dixie Highway, Bunnell, Florida.
