It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Maxie Eugene Raley Sr. (Gene) on March 26, 2025 at the age of 77. He is a long time resident of New Smyrna Beach as well as having a secondary home in Interlachen, Florida.

Maxie was preceded in death by his grandson, Kyle Hunter Wallschlaeger and survived by his wife Karen of 53 years; his son, Maxie E. Raley II; daughters, Frankie Bayne and Tracey Wallschlaeger (Son In Law Steve); grand children Kenzi and Ryan Wallschlaeger, Slater and Gavin Rubio and Maxie E. Raley III; great grandchildren, Christian Wallschlaeger; brother, Wayne Raley and sisters, June Raley and Betty Sypolt; brother in laws, William (Lucky) and Court Wyrick.

A special thank you extended to Community Hospice of Putnam County recognizing Brooklyn, Kerri and Misty for the outstanding compassionate care they provided.

Family and friends are welcome to join an intimate graveside service held at Sea Pines Memorial Gardens, Edgewater, Florida on Monday, April 7, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.
