Mayling was born in Bronx, NY to Juan Gonzalez and Matilde Martinez-Gonzalez. Mayling is survived by her sister Wilma Cruz and the love of her life, Orlando Figueroa-Irizarry and her four children Henry Gonzalez, Mady and Eileen Tirado,Maelyn Figueroa,  grandchildren Jayden, Laylah and Emalyah, and her fur baby, Astrid.

Mayling leaves her children and grandchildren a legacy as a wife, mother and grandmother. She gave them strength, courage, independence, and might. She taught them to stand up for each other in many lessons. Mayling gave her best to all she loved and was always there when needed by anyone.

Now the time has come for her to rest in peace. Sadly, she was diagnosed with Liver cancer in February 2021 and quickly lost her battle. She fought hard to win and was fully supported by her loved ones. We are truly saddened to not have her here, but we rather her suffer no more. We are so grateful to all who have helped support her dreams in Florida and all who came to visit her during the good and bad days of this battle.
