Melanie Nicole Rhodes (Bennett) passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 15 ^th , 2023. She was born to Carolyn and Lloyd Bennett in Spruce Pine NC (Mitchell County) on August 3 ^rd , 1972. She loved listening to music, baking, and playing piano. Her favorite animal was Pandas and favorite movie was "Gone with the Wind." She is survived by her husband Allen C. Rhodes Jr (Grandchildren Kaylee & Dominic Rhodes), daughter Macey Caitlin Duvall (Tyler Duvall) grandchildren Greyson and Skylar, her parents Carolyn and Lloyd Bennett, two sisters Monica Bennett-Payne and Misty Horton (Victor Horton), three nieces and nephews (Colton Payne, Brenley Horton, Baedyn Horton), numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins and her grandmother Dorothy Renfro-all from North Carolina.
