Melida C. Arias of Ft. Myers, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2020, with her loving family by her side. She was 83 years old. Melida was born on August 7, 1936 in Manizales, Colombia, to the late Luis Felipe Castro and Margarita Castillo.

She is survived by her three daughters; Martha, Carolina and Luz Helena; and her six grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Alfonso; son, Carlos Alberto; and daughter, Ana Maria.

Her greatest love was her grandchildren.
