Melvin Francis, 89, of Ocala, FL passed away May 3, 2018.  Born in Chicago, IL, he came to this area in 1998 from Coral Springs, FL.  He was a Marine Corps Veteran of the Korean War, a retired banker from City National Bank and SunBank.  Mel was also a member of the SW Rotary Club and Past Commandant or the SW Marine Corps League.  He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Kristy; son, Norm Francis and his wife, Louise; daughter, Debbie Chisholm and her husband, Paul; 3 grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his 2 brothers.  Visitation will be held at Baldwin Brothers Funerals & Cremations 11250 SW 93rd Ct. Rd., Ocala on Tuesday, May 8th from 3-5PM.  Interment with Military Honors will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell on Wednesday, May 9th at 10:30 AM.
