MICHAEL E. BARNES, Sr., 66, of Titusville, Fl, passed away July 11, 2021 at Parrish Medical Center after a brief illness.

Mike was born on June 14, 1955 in Dothan, AL, to  the late Fleix  an Frances (Benton) Barnes.

Mike attended Florida State University on a four year football scholarship from 1973-1977 and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Recreation and Business.

Mike Barnes, Sr. is survived by his loving wife of 17 years Terri L Barnes of Titusville, his son, Mike Jr., stepsons, Matthew B Taylor of Titusville, Kevin "Lee" Taylor (Debra) of Fernandina Beach, FL and grandchildren Haylie Griffin, Brayden and Zachary Taylor all of FL.

He is also survived by his sisters Barbara Saunders Barnes (deceased), Glenda (Darrell) Thompson of Tallahassee, FL , Kathy (Lou) Zubowicz of Leesburg, FL, brother Steve J Barnes (deceased), and Robert (Deb) Barnes  of Oviedo, FL.   Also, numerous nieces and nephews including Jonathan Barnes (deceased)
