Michael Shawn Bloomer, age 53, passed away on May 9, 2018. Mike was born on July 29, 1964 in Winter Park, FL. He was the son of Patricia Ahrens and Joseph Bloomer. He started playing guitar when he was 13 years old. Mike says he found his passion for music when his mother bought him a guitar and an amp for his birthday. Mike graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Music. He also graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Paralegal Studies. Mike was an Educator, Musician and Composer. Mike loved God. He enjoyed reading the Bible and prayer. He also had a passion for playing music, spending time with family and friends. Mike wanted to help and serve others. Mike is survived by his wife, Barbara Bloomer; children-Kristen Bloomer and Noah Bloomer; Sisters-Patricia Powers and Missy Smith (Mark); Brothers-Oliver Clarke(Diane) and Robert Bloomer (Dawn). A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 19th at 3:00pm at Faith Assembly of God in Stephens Chapel. 9307 Curry Ford Road, Orlando, FL 32825.
