Surrounded by his family, Michael Cavella, Sr, 78, passed away peacefully in his home on June 29, 2020 after a long battle with multiple sclerosis. An Ohio native, Michael moved to Florida about 10 years ago. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, and being around people. Outgoing and very generous with his time and love, he made friends wherever he went.

Michael is survived by his wife, Susan; his son Michael Cavella Jr, daughter in law Nicole Wackerly Cavella, granddaughters Elisha Cavella and Josephine Cavella, sister Marlene Diano, and niece Michelle Diano, and many friends.

Michael will be cremated. Due to the virus, a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Cavella, mother, Julia Barlett Cavella, brother, Joseph Cavella, and nephews Anthony Diano and Joe Cavella.
