Michael Cooper, 77, of Land O' Lakes, FL. died on Wednesday, June 22, 2022.. He  was born January 22, 1945 in Vicksburg, MS to Emanuel and Margaret Cooper. He was a graduate of Auburn University and retired as a CPA following many dedicated years.

Michael was a US Army captain in the Vietnam War, where he received the National Defense Service Medal, Parachutist Badge, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal with 60 device, Vietnam Special Forces Honorary Jump Wings, Combat Infantry Badge and 2 Oversea Service Bars.

Surviving are: a son, James "Andy" Cooper and wife, Christina of Land O' Lakes; two grandsons, Camden and Max Cooper of Land O' Lakes; three brothers, Patrick Cooper of Greenville, SC, William Cooper & family of Portland, OR, and John Cooper & family of Highlands Ranch, CO.
