Michael James Dias, 76 years old, of Port Orange, Florida, passed away peacefully at home after a long illness. He was born on August 28, 1950 in Fall River, MA and was the son of the late James and Lillian Dias.

He was a proud veteran of the US Navy and served the community in law enforcement his entire life. He also worked as a part time school teacher.

Mike had a wonderful sense of humor and a personality that made everyone feel welcomed. He was a long time Boston Red Sox fan, an avid reader and he loved his 5 mile walks in the mornings. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and the many motorcycle trips he made over the years with good friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Karen, daughter, Jenn Woodward, son, Michael Dias II, granddaughter, Amelia Woodward and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral mass will be held on October 20, 2026 at 11:00AM at the Catholic Church of the Epiphany, 201 Lafayette Street, Port Orange, FL.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his memory to Catholic Charities of Central Florida.
