Michael Ray Dudley, 72, of St. James City, Florida, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2024, at ShorePoint Hospital in Port Charlotte surrounded by his family. Michael was born on May 7, 1952, in Harrington, Kansas to the late Eugene J Dudley and Marjorie May Hand Dudley. In addition to his parents, Michael is preceded in death by his brother, Eugene Dudley. Michael is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Sarah Ellen McCoy Dudley; son, Michael J. Dudley and wife Wendy of Green Bay, WI; stepchildren, Molly Breckling and husband Jason of Windermere, FL, and Matthew Schulz and wife Angie of Wrightstown, WI; grandchildren, Michael J. Dudley, Jr. and Jacob Dudley; step grandchildren, Parker Schuh and Kenadi Kolz and several other family and friends. Michael was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, spending time at the Moose Club and American Legion with multiple friends, and just recently took up golfing. He also enjoyed exploring national parks with Sarah and was particularly delighted when he spotted his favorite animal, the bald eagle. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed but precious memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
