Michael J. Ehret, 72, passed away peacefully under Hospice Care surrounded by his wife on February 8, 2022. Michael was born in Kanagawa-Ken, Japan on February 2, 1950. Michael married Michele Dioguardo-Ehret on March 6, 1988, and shortly after became a United States Citizen on March 17, 1989. Michael and Michele went on to purchase a home in the Villages on June 26, 2006. Mike had a severe stroke on September 19, 2001, which left him 100% disabled. However, that didn't get him down. He took the negative that entered his body that day and made it into a positive. Mike was a member of the Stroke Support Group, New York Yankee Club, Buffalo High School Booster Club, MVP Club, and the Asia Club. He was a very active and social man. From the moment anyone, anywhere, anytime would meet him; They knew they met someone very special. He will be remembered for his infectious smile and favorite expression; 'DON'T WORRY, BE HAPPY"
