Michael Kenneth Kayatta, 71, of Cape Coral, FL passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018. He was born January 4, 1947 in Brooklyn, NY to Michael and Dorothy Kayatta.

Michael married the love of his life, Flora E. Kayatta (Naumann) on the 5th of February 1966.  Michael and Flora had 3 children, who then gave them 4 grandchildren.  Michael was an amazing Grandfather.  He was devoted to those grandchildren, he attended every school function and sporting event each of those grandchildren ever had.  They brought great joy and love into his life.  Michael was a very generous family man.  He was always there for his family.  He will be greatly missed by his family.

He is survived by……his daughter Laurie J. Davis and granddaughter Shyanne (10), his son Michael K. Kayatta, wife Julie Kayatta and grandchildren Kristina (21) and Dakota (18), his son Kevin L. Kayatta, wife Dawn Kayatta and granddaughter Alynn (20), his brother Patrick Kayatta, and family of Oregon and his sister Susan Toader and family of Colorado.

He is preceded in death by……his lovely wife Flora E. Kayatta and both of his parents Michael G. Kayatta and Dorothy Kayatta.

In lieu of flowers please forward donations to Hope Hospice as they assisted in his care the last two years.

As per Michael's wishes there will be no formal service, his family will have an informal celebration of life gathering at a later date.
