Michael (Mike) Lanza, Sr., 77, of The Villages, Florida passed away January 3, 2017 at home under the care of hospice, his wife and his sons James and Patrick.  He was born in Boston, MA on July 24, 1939.  Mike is survived by his wife of 36 years, Maureen.  Mike is also survived by his sister, Jacqueline (Lanza) Gorman and her husband, William.  He is also survived by his sons Patrick and his wife Christine, James, Matthew, and Johnny and his wife Cheryl; four grandchildren, several nieces and one nephew.  Mike is preceded in death by his son, Michael (Irish) Lanza, Jr. who passed away on January 3, 2015.

There will be a brief viewing at 8:00 am on Saturday, January 7 , followed immediately after at 8:30 am by a mass at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 1351 Paige Place, Lady Lake, FL.
