Michael Percy Meierstein, passed away Monday, February 8, 2016 at Southeast Volusia Hospice in Edgewater, Florida after a long battle with cancer. He was 65 years old.

Michael was born in Sioux City, Iowa and moved to Orlando, Florida in 1966. He enjoyed fishing, music, and spending time with friends and family.

Michael is survived by his wife Myrtice; sisters Bobbyann Edwards and her husband Bob, and Linda Pechfelder and her husband Gary; two step daughters, Stephanie Young and Kristina Burleson, step son Raymond Boggs and his wife Cindy; granddaughters Katrina and Angela; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee Meierstein and Dorothy Worthington Meierstein; sister Judith Shull and brother John A. Meierstein.

A celebration of Michael's life will be held on Saturday, February 20th at his home in Edgewater.
